Whether you’re eloping in secret, or telling all your family and friends about your plans to get married just the two of you, we can help. We specialize in wee weddings and can give you ideas, direction and the confidence to have the wedding of your dreams.
We offer something called 'Design Your Day' and 'Design Your Stay' which caters for you if you would like some practical help - previous couples have had our help with wedding cakes, picnics, celebration meals, finding musicians - a piper, a fiddler, a guitarist, an accordion player - finding transport, a masseuse, hair and make up, creating a fire on the beach. We could go on! What kind of things would you like to enjoy on your wedding day?
The 'Design Your Stay' could involve working out places of interest to visit during your time in Scotland, planning a route and how you would travel, and where to eat and stay. Now that the North Coast 500 is proving so popular, as are all the trails of the north - The Whisky Trail, The Castle Trail, The Stone Circle trail - whether you have a love of golf, whisky, romance and adventure, or natural history, we can offer you some great ideas.
Come To Scotland!Come to Scotland and have a relaxed, personal, intimate ceremony, with only yourselves to please – maybe even your wedding and honeymoon or minimoon in one? - then gather with loved ones at a later date with some kind of celebration.
Susie and Karina weren't able to have the kind of ceremony they really wanted in their church, so they decided to head to Scotland late January, and have a personal ceremony which could reflect all their wishes. At this point they already knew they were having a church blessing and a celebration meal with family and friends in April.
Based on Susie's love of Scottish mountains particularly around the west coast and the Glencoe area, and her desire to show Karina, they formed a plan to have an amazing wedding adventure. They got the sleeper up to Scotland, stayed in a holiday cottage, and had the most meaningful and memorable time in every way possible - you can read all about it in their wedding blog.
We Can Help With The Little Extras!If your dream is to stay in a secluded wee cabin with a great view and a hot tub, we know of the perfect place near us. It's next to a wild wooded garden with a wee loch, so whether you fancy the deck of the cabin with a view, or the loch side in the woods for your ceremony, they are both pretty special spots. And really, the area where we live is not short of special spots.
You could stock up on treats from the local supermarkets and have them deliver, or eat out and head out to a local pub or restaurant, or have a caterer come in and cook for you on your special day. We have local contacts we'd be happy to recommend.
We can also help with the basic practicalities that most couples would like which could be where to find some or all of – legal witnesses, where to hold your ceremony, kilt hire, hair and make up, a piper or other live musician, flowers and room decoration, transport, catering, accommodation – we’re happy to help.
We're Here To Help!Gina and Sasha had only themselves to please when they decided to elope just the two of them. We found them a fabulous 5 star B&B which had a small loch where they could privately marry - and enjoy being barefoot. The weather was also very kind on the day.
We enlisted the help of our friend Terri to both act as a legal witness, as well as to give Gina and Sasha massage - something they decided would really help them to feel pampered and relaxed and add to the specialness of their day.
We took photos of the ceremony and around the wee loch, then headed to the beach for a wee bonfire and special vegan picnic which we prepared, before more couple shots on the beach. Their day finished after they had enjoyed a special meal in the local area's top restaurant.
